First and Last Name: Kyle Stephen Richman
Physical Description: An average looking eleven year old, Kyle stands at 5 feet tall and weighs 104 pounds. He has chestnut brown hair which he likes to keep no longer than ear length and dark green eyes.
Bloodline: Muggle Born
Short Background: Thomas and Sandra Richman were a young couple living a comfortable life in the small town of Penryn, near Plymouth, when their first (and so far, only) son, Kyle, was born on January 24th. Ever since he was young, Kyle always asked his parents for a little brother or sister to play with, but with Thomas being a college professor and Sandra an accountant, they could never imagine finding the time to raise another child. So it was, Kyle was left to make friends with the other neighborhood kids, often staying out till it got dark playing football (soccer) in the neighborhood street.
Being the only child had its advantages, however. His parents always did everything in their power to keep Kyle happy and wanted only what was best for him. Some may say he was spoiled, but Thomas and Sandra were strict when they had to be. They were focused on raising a child with strong moral values.
Kyle attended a private school up until 4th grade before his parents sent him to boarding school. There, he became more independent and matured a great deal. He had to rely on his social skills to make friends and keep himself busy. As much as he loved being outside and hanging out with his friends, Kyle also liked to focus on his studies (his dad had always been his idol and he wanted more than anything to make him proud).
On the summer after his 11th birthday, Kyle received the acceptance letter to Hogwarts. It came as a complete shock to both his parents and himself. Strange things somehow seemed to happen around Kyle (especially during intense football matches with his buddies when he got frustrated), but he always shook them off. Finally, an explanation. After much debating, Thomas and Sandra decided to give this magic school a try, and allowed Kyle to attend. He, a true son of his father, bought many books to read and has tried to educate himself on the Magical world in order to fit in more nicely with the other kids.
Strengths: As mentioned above, Kyle is a smart kid, and has a knack for memorizing things quickly. He’s not a complete bookworm, but he does take his studies seriously and always does the best he can. Aside from that, he is a fun loving kid who is always friendly and easygoing. He can make friends easily and likes to include everyone, no matter where they come from or what they like. Kyle is confident in himself and stands his ground, always calling out those who are mistreating him or his friends. He is also very patient, even in the most stressful of situations, and can be counted on to always be there to help out.
Weaknesses: Although it is a good thing Kyle stands up for himself and others, even when it is against his own friends, he can sometimes be a little too honest. He can easily point out the flaws in others, therefore causing arguments or fights with those he cares about. He can also often misinterpret emotions, and thinks one thing when it really is another, which can prove to be a huge disadvantage in certain situations.
Kyle expects too much from himself, so he has a tendency to often go overboard and overwork himself with his desire to keep up on his studies as well as to make time for a social life. He often keeps these feelings inside in order not to bother anyone with his problems, and that, along with being so patient and thoughtful of others, leads to random outburst were he releases all that pent up energy in a negative way. He also can get very self-conscious and cares very much about what others think of him, and often times can act unlike himself in other to fit in or please others.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: With his intelligent mind and cleverness, Kyle would fit nicely into Ravenclaw, but he belongs in Gryffindor. He is an honorable person with a strong sense of morality, and is brave enough to stand up to his own friends when he sees they are doing something wrong. Kyle is not afraid to fight for what he believes, is always polite and very daring, thus making him a true Gryffindor at heart.
