Brief Childhood History: So named after the first member of her family (Helena Noir Anaceur) to bring her bloodline from France to England, Noir has lead a privileged life. Her family's great fortune made from her ancestor Henrie Anaceur's knowledgeable publications on the various uses of dragon's blood and pensieve to help restore memory loss, has allowed her to live life in luxury. Always roaming the manor library alone, she sought to drown her loneliness by reading book after book, the only things she considered her friends. Much to her dislike, Noir's parents never let her play with the other country children because she was "different". She never really understood this rule--her mother saying it was for "protection" and "preservation", but she occasionally sneaked out anyways through a secret trap door underneath her bedroom floor.
Unfortunately her parents were right. Whenever Noir did manage to sneak away, the other kids withdrew from her, whether it was her oddly quiet and withdrawn persona, or the fact that when she did talk, it was about the paranormal or the wand waving that went on inside her home. Little did Noir know, her keen insight and magickal lifestyle were alltogether very uncommon. She was a budding witch.
Although she now knows the truth about her unique powers, she has never put herself first. In Noir's mind, everyone is equal, whether muggle or magick folk alike. But finally, after years of awaiting her acceptance letter, she is now en route to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And just maybe, after a long time coming, she will finally make some friends.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): She is intelligent, showing resourcefulness and absorbing any knowledge that she comes across like a sponge. Loyal to those she does trust, Noir would never desert them for she knows that true allies are a very rare find indeed. She is also quite wise for her age, showing great morality and understanding of adult subjects even though she is just 11. Noir is quite talented in Charms, Divination, and Transfiguration.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): The shy type, Noir is afraid to talk to strangers and even some of the people she knows best. This is due to her insecurity about how she comes across to others and a fear of being rejected. She is also just a bit unorganized, occaisionally misplacing things and throwing any written parchment in her bag, regardless of how it should be filed. Defence Against the Dark Arts is not her strongest suit; Noir prefers a peaceful negotiation every time.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Noir Anaceur is friendly, talented, creative, and very bright. Intelligence is her main suit and even though she is quiet, she shows amazing drive and ambition to learn all she can about her studies. For this, I believe she belongs in the house of Ravenclaw.
