First and Last Name: Brett Harris
Bloodline: Pure-Blood
Hair Color: Black as the text to the left of this sentence
Eye Color: Hazel
General Build: Average
Height: Tall
Birthplace: Sussex, England
Brief Childhood History: "Chance" is a word that can be rightly applied to Brett Harris.

By chance, he was born to two utterly different parents. His father, Joseph Harris, died from unknown causes when Brett was seven. His mother is a respectable local Quidditch player and newswriter, never angry, always kind. This pattern of evil males and good females has continued into Brett's generation.

For an example, Perseus Harris is the elder brother of Brett and recently graduated from Hogwarts, third in his class. Perseus was not a model student, and was known for "practicing" his Transfiguration skills outside of class.

Brett himself is certainly not as bad as his father or brother, but he is certainly not free from evil. Growing up, his mother expressed interest in Muggles despite not being one, and the whole family adopted a Muggle-esque lifestyle. Perseus enjoyed this simply because it allowed him to tackle his brother during their games of football, but Brett grew to resent it, simply because he disliked the idea of the wizards and Muggles have anything to do with each other. He rarely interacts with the rest of the family, and when he does, he seems nearly hateful about his life. He has expressed intelligence above the average wizard by far, but resents his life and wishes he could just be a normal wizard. That word, "chance," now applies. Will young Brett end the tradition of evil, or will be just as dark as those before him? Only time will tell...

Strengths: His tendency for violence makes him almost a Dark Arts-y person, but alas, they don't teach that at Hogwarts. They do, however, teach Defense against it, so naturally he's good at that. He's very intelligent. And he's certainly cruel, but he can a friend to those who are friends to him. He is also loyal- not Hufflepuffish, but he can stick to others, both friends and Housemates.

Weaknesses:  He utterly despises the work needed for Arithmancy. He's often cruel to Muggles and Half-Bloods, especially the former, and even pure-bloods can find him hard to be around. In addition, he's slightly... strange at times, due to his strange upbringing mix, and finds it hard to be around more "normal" wizards.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: He is too dark to be in Gryffindor and too lazy to be in Hufflepuff. Although he's intelligent and could make a decent Ravenclaw, he feels most at home in Slytherin- a house promoting both wit and cunning. A Slytherin in heart. A Slytherin in life. Brett belongs in Slytherin.

Hi there! Welcome to HPRPG! Before we can get you sorted, there are just a few things to attend to.

While it's great that you've really detailed aspects of Brett's family's life, we are going to have to ask you to edit them. His father could not have been killed by a student over a failing grade. It's creative for sure, but really not something that would take place in our canon world. Speaking of our canon world, we've actually had a Slytherin Quidditch team that can be accounted for for the past few years, so unfortunately, Brett's brother can not have been on that roster. Nor would he actually be skilled enough, as a student, to transfigure or un-charm a broom during a game.

And finally, you'll need to provide at least 2 personality strengths and weaknesses for Brett.

Once you've done that, just change the title from 'pending' to 'edited'!

I think I fixed it, but being me, I probably messed it up again. I hope I got it right this time.

You almost got everything! The sheet still needs 1 more personality strength and weakness. ^___^ And just change the title again when you're done.
