Brief Childhood History: One Christmas Eve, David and Julie Barnes lives would change forever. High school sweethearts, the two had married shortly after David passed his bar exams. Several years later, after several fertility treatments, David and Julie welcomed their first and only child, Abriana Elizabeth Barnes. The two could not be more excited to be new parents, nor could there be any better parents around.
Everything about Bria’s life was perfect. Her dad was a lawyer and mom was a NICU nurse. Bria grew up in a two-story, four bedroom house with a white picket fence and a swing set in the backyard. She was bright and bubbly, and had a personality that everyone loved. When Bria turned four, her parents enrolled her in dance classes and piano lessons. Where she quickly became the star of her class When she turned five, they sent her to a private school where she excelled academically. While Bria was a straight ‘O’ student, her true passion was the arts. She loved singing, dancing, and music; she dreamed of being a star on the stage. Doing well in school was just the means to achieving that dream.
Bria’s life was a life that many kids would dream of having. While Bria was not spoiled by any means, she also lived a very comfortable. Life was completely normal; that was… until her Hogwarts letter arrived.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Bria is very personable and bright. She is able to do well in school with very little effort. She also excels on the stage, performing in ballet recitals and piano concerts several times a year. In terms of Hogwarts classes, Bria will excel at Charms and Potions (and Muggle Studies later on, as she is herself a muggle).
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): While Bria is generally liked by everyone, she internally struggles with self-confidence issues. She constantly compares herself to others, and will never measure up to the expectations she sets for herself. While she does well academically, Bria will have to work very hard for her grades in Transfiguration and D.A.D.A. (and later Divination as it is hard to believe in such ‘fortune teller’ rubbish for her).
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Bria would fit in well with two houses for many reasons. She does well academically, so Ravenclaw would be a good fit. On the other hand, she is likable and remains very loyal to all the friends she makes, so Hufflepuff may work as well. If she became a Gryffindor, it would be because of some underlying trait she is yet unaware of. I doubt she would end up in Slytherin because she does not have a mean bone in her body. So either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff would be fine!
