First and Last Name: Camille Bonnet

Bloodline: Half-Blood
Hair Color: Sandy Blonde
Eye Color: Greenish-blue
General Build: Petite
Height: Short

Birthplace: Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England
Brief Childhood History:
Camille was born into a loving and fairly normal house hold; she is the only child of her parents, Francis Bonnet, a French man who came to the United Kingdom in order to set up his business and his lovely, witch wife Martine Bonnet, previously Smithe.  Camille herself was born and raised in the United Kingdom; she has in fact never left England bar going to visit her family in France when she was younger. The trip to France left her slightly wary of her French grandparents, a pair of rather eccentric people who were a little too partial to their wine. Her Grandparents in England have frowned upon her mother’s marriage to Francis from the start and as such it has caused quite a bit of tension in the family.
Camille herself lived in a fairly expensive neighbourhood, in a small house with a large garden surrounded by neighbours who kept themselves mostly to themselves. In fact the only house that would be considered odd in anyway was her own, perhaps it was her mother’s extensive collection of garden gnomes that littered the garden or the almost life like Halloween decorations and that sprouted up around the right time of year (Though perhaps a little early).
Until she was eleven years old she attended a normal, public school and grew up as a normal child in a normal world with very normal friends. Except where they went shopping with their mother’s, her mother taught her about Magic, what it was like being a witch and forever enforced the rule that she was never to tell anyone what she was. Camille’s father knew from the start of their relationship what her mother was, though at first he didn’t believe it the French man was forced to come around to the idea when he met his in laws.
Though Camille has no siblings, she has grown up surrounded by a multitude of cousins on both sides of the family, her father having two brothers and her own mother having an older sister. However, because of certain tensions in her family she has become closer to her French cousins.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Camille is only human (well, she’s a witch but you know what I mean) and as such has her faults but she does have her strong points just as everyone does. One of her strong points is perhaps her intellect and ability to use common sense rather than violence to solve her own problems and in the past the problems of others. Perhaps another point we could consider is her strength in her opinions, though a normally calm, fairly collected person she has been known to fight to have her opinions heard, there’s nothing she loves more than a good debate and she’s quite happily to accept any person who challenges her to one. A final strength, though it can cause her stress from time to time, is her attention to the fine detail in things. Often noticing things that other’s may not, whether she will speak out that she has noticed it or not is a different story, it rather depends on whether she considers you a friend or a foe.
Academically, Camille excels at astronomy, History of magic and Charms. Of the three she favours Astronomy, finding it such a beautiful way to spend her evenings and really not minding staying up late to do it. She was always fascinated by stars as a young child and finds this a wonderful way to re-experience that wonder she felt when she was little. Camille enjoys History Of Magic because of the many facts and secrets she can learn about the wizardng world she grew up away from, though it may be a lot of information to take on at once and though it can be sometimes boring saying that she disliked learning about some of the things her mother may have experienced when she was a girl highly interesting. As for Charms she simply enjoys that little boost of joy she gets when she performs something correctly and watches something amazing happen right before her eyes.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Camille’s slightly pessimistic, rather blunt view of the world could most certainly be taken as a negative trait, she does tend to bring people down from time to time whether she means it to happen or not. She tends to simply state the plain facts of things no matter how unlikely people are to listen to her. Perhaps another one of her more negative traits is her tendency to be just a little bit over the top, her eccentricity has been considered odd at best but she never seemed to notice just how quirky her mannerisms can be compared to those of others. She does have a tendency to come off as a bit of a know-it-all, she doesn’t mean too as such she just feels the need to show off her never dimming knowledge of the world around her. It has made her seem annoying in the past, along with making others feel she looks down her nose at them.
One of her weaker academic traits include Flying, this is down to her fear of falling off her broom and possibly her refusal to get onto her broom at one point in the past caused her slightly lower mark in this class. Another weak subject for her is Herbology, possibly because she lacks interest. She does try though, really very hard simply does not find it interesting enough to consider important.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I feel that, in all honesty, Camille belongs in Ravenclaw. Her intelligence plays a major factor in why I feel she should be sorted into this particular house. I think traits such as her eccentricity and love of learning also play a role in her acceptance into this house. Not only that but she has a love for puzzles and tends to try and sort things out by using her mind instead of her brute strength. Camille also enjoys the company of other people who show understanding to her love seeking knowledge and not having to change the way she thinks to fit in. Plus, she would never turn down a good intellectual debate if the opportunity arose.
