First and Last Name: Molly Gills

Bloodline: Half-Blood
Hair Color: Light Brown
Eye Color: hazel
General Build: average
Height: average

Birthplace: South Shropshire, in a very small town called Clun
Brief Childhood History:

Molly's mother was a witch, and when she met Molly's muggle father, she stopped practicing magic and learned to live as a muggle in the countryside of Clun. Once they were married, her mother couldn't help but want to get back into it. At first it was just potions and talismans for witches and wizards and occasionally muggles. At first her father paid no mind to the potions or talismans, claiming that they were a phase of the "new age". When Molly's older muggle sister was born, Molly's father grew weary of it and wanted a stop to all of it. The fights were small at first and they were able to work through it but after a while, Molly's mother started back into it. When Molly was born two years later, she was born into the world where all she heard was yelling and arguing. As a year passed, the fights got heavier and when mother refused to stop being a witch, Molly's parents got a divorce.

Since both of her parents still lived in the small town of Clun, during the week both her and her sister would stay with their mother, and on the weekends, they would go to their father. Molly liked to work on the sheep farm, where her father worked. She learned and play with the animals, finding that they wouldn't yell or argue and where they were easier to understand. Her sister on the other hand, hated it.

In three years, both of her parents remarried. Her mother had married a wizard, and it was then that she explained about magic in the world to them, letting Molly's older sister know, that she would never be apart of it and Molly herself would. Father had married a muggle and blocked witches and wizards from his mind.  Two years later, her mother had a baby boy, while her father had a baby girl. Then a year later, her father had twin boys, while it was a year after that her mother had another girl. Her sister grew closer to their father, where the world was normal to her, while Molly grew closer to their mother.

As the years went on Molly's sister became popular in school with many friends and spent most of her time with them. Molly, was to shy to be outgoing and had very little friends. One of her best friends was the old family sheep dog, who went everywhere he could with her, which was mostly outdoors. She spent most of her time playing in the fields and one of the few small woods found through out Clun. Feeling more accepted there than at home, since both her parents had their other family to attend to. On rainy days though, when she was stuck indoors, she would watch her mother work. Asking questions on why she did certain things and what the outcome to be. Her mother would answer the questions for a while before she was asked to watch her brother or sister, or to clean something or to find something constructive to do.

When Molly turned 11, and received her owl, her mother was excited and proud and her father highly disappointed. Molly's older sister, who was hardly around her anyways, seemed to ignore her completely now. Her sister finally tired of the magic of her mother's side, moved permanently in with her father, which hurt Molly. Though sad about her sister, Molly was thoroughly excited and couldn't wait to attend school.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):
She's interested in potions and is great at it, finding that watching her mother helped her out. She's also strong in the care of magical creatures since she is near animals all the time. She's nice and caring, and would go out of her way to help anyone. She is also good at keeping a cool head under any type of pressure, knowing that freaking out or panicking wouldn't help any situation. Especially when people are screaming and yelling.

Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): She would be horrible in Astronomy, even though she's stays outdoors, one star looks just like another to her. She would also be horrible in Herbology. Even though she's good with animals, plants are not animals. She doesn't have a green thumb and most of the time, ends up killing the plants by accident. Also being shy would have drawbacks because she's not outgoing. This would render her most of the time, unnoticeable and the lack of participation in most things. The fact that she would go out of her way to help someone is also a weakness since most people could take advantage of that.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:

I feel like she should be in Hufflepuff. Though shy and mainly a loner, her friends, human or animal, she is loyal to and would fight for them.

Heya Molly and welcome to HPRPG~!

Everything looks good, but we ask that you pick which house you'd like Molly to be in, as it's generally a crucial step to developing your character how you want. ^^~ Both houses are open now, so just edit with whichever preference you'd think would give Molly more development over time and change the title from 'pending' to 'edited' once you've done so. :biglove:
