Brief Childhood History: Darcy was born to Tsume and Marlene Knight. Tsume and Marlene both had grandparents that moved from Japan, so Darcy has 100 percent Japanese heritage in her background. When she is at school, her parents both go to work. As far as Darcy knew, her dad did something with banks. Which was true, but she didn't know that he helped with a magical wizard bank. Gringotts. Her mum cleans Hotel rooms. Usually, they all come home around the same time, so Darcy sees her parents a lot and has a pretty good relationship with them. Anyway, when Darcy was born, they lived in a small apartment for about five months, before they moved in to a house that they think to be somewhat haunted, because of objects flying across the room and the odd silhouette figure, moving down the hallway sometimes. Darcy, when she was little, used to swear up and down that before she went to bed, an old woman would lean over and smile at her then disappear. That part seemed to really convince her parents that the house was haunted. Darcy always found it sort of cool. It isn't very often you end up living in haunted house, right?
Darcy started grade one when she should have and worked her way through Elementary school, until she turned 11 on the 30th of June, when she got her letter inviting her to Hogwarts. That day, she also found out that her dad was a wizard. Darcy's mum knew he was already, but they wanted Darcy to be raised like a muggle so that she wouldn't think of muggles as lesser beings, or something like that, like her grandparents had.
Darcy's grandparent's where both Purebloods and pretty much, disowned their son when he married a muggle. After Darcy had gotten her letter, she was sort of upset that her parents never told her about magic and secretly figured that they didn't trust her.
Darcy wasn't too upset to leave her muggle school. She hadn't bothered making friends there, because a lot of the girls at her school were not very trustworthy and would ditch you in a flash is they found someone who was 'cooler'. Darcy had, had experience with that from her best friend. Whom she had been friends with since the first grade. While she didn't put much effort in to making friends she somehow became friends with a couple boys in her class, named Joe, Martin, and Chris. They saved her from being picked on by a bunch of girls who where all rich spoiled brats. They are probably the only people, besides her parents, she will miss while at Hogwarts.
They had actually witnessed something paranormal on Darcy's birthday one time, when the TV turned on and off quickly about twenty times in a row.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Darcy tends to be rather mathematically inclined, so she would be good at stuff like: Potions, Arithmancy and anything else like that. Personality wise, Darcy is not easily offended and doesn't let people push her around or get on their high sides with her. Darcy's other strengths are drawing and music. She would be ok at quidditch and flying, but not the greatest. She also has a lot of control over her emotions which is helpful since a lot of the girls at her school are jerks and look down their noses at her for not being super rich like them.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Academically, she is weak when it comes to History of Magic and DADA. HoM wouldn't be that interesting to her at all. For DADA, she would just prefer potions or Transfiguration over it. or her personality, Darcy is quite humourless. Ninety-nice percent of the time, she doesn't catch on to jokes, and doesn't really find anything funny. Darcy is also quite stubborn and likes to try and find shortcuts out of everything, which usually will land her in some sort of trouble. And even though she is good with music, Darcy cannot dance, at all.
What House You Feel You’re Character Belongs In and Why: Ravenclaw, because Darcy is fairly witty and creative, like most Ravenclaws, and usually likes to learn. (Mostly she likes to learn more about paranormal things though.)
