Dominique Aubert - Approved [R]
« on: 12 Aug 2011, 09:24 am »
First and Last Name: Dominique Aubert

Bloodline: Pureblood
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Blue
General Build: Petite
Height: short

Birthplace: Dublin, Ireland
Brief Childhood History:
Dom’s parents gave him tutors from the beginning to help him learn to be a proper pureblood even though he saw them more as servants than teachers, especially when he was younger. He would throw tantrums, usually breaking things, when he didn’t get his way. As he got a little older, he began loosing control of his emotions, usually by crying, more and more often, the littlest of things setting him off. As he got older, he began to be sickened with himself, feeling as though he were acting worse than a girl. Thus, he stopped crying, the last time having been when he was around six, after he broke a vase his mother loved on accident.

The sudden change surprised his tutors and family. He hadn't known, but his parents were beginning to believe they had a disgraceful heir to the name, which would disgrace them as well. Because of the sudden change in his attitude, where he would be calm and collected even when someone tried his patience, his parents made sure he had extra free time to make sure he didn't relapse into the dreadful behavior he began with. As Dom grew, he began to change, becoming very opinionated. He had no real cares about the Death Eaters, wizardring politics, or the likes. More interested in his own well-being and having fun, he often found it hard to side with anyone, as they didn’t have his, or his families, interests at heart. However, even though he had no real care about the pureblood ways or Death Eaters, he adhered to them, knowing it was in his best interest, after all how would being disowned be good for him?

As Dom got closer to going to Hogwarts, he began to have worries about if he turned out to be an invalid. He knew it would cause a lot of problems for him. He knew it would be a complete shame for his family as well. Thus, Dom spent a lot of his time reading and learning, kind of drawing away from his family. Once Dominique received his letter, he calmed down quite a bit. However, he still loved to learn new things and get praises for his work.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Dom is a strong individual who can control his emotions very well. He isn't quick with wit, but he's a very fast learner and he loves to learn new things. He loves Potions, DADA, and Herbology, even though he isn't any good at Herbology and is mediocre at DADA. Potions is one of his best subjects, however. Even though Dominique is from a pureblooded family, he makes friends with everyone and is good at lying so his parents don't know.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Dom has a weakness for his family, doing his best to keep them happy so that he'll be happy. He's horrible at History of Magic, having no real interest in the past. His control over his emotions is a weakness because he has a hard time showing when he's upset. He has a hard time doing things wrong (although he does act out to try to fit in with his friends more) because he is scared to get into trouble.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Dom is a pureblood, but he doesn't care about pureblooded ways. Even though he is very self-centered, he is also a fast learner and someone who genuinely loves to learn. He also seems to fit in better with everyone instead of just purebloods, so he should be a Ravenclaw.

Since Ravenclaw is closed at the moment, I'm going to stick you onto the waiting list. If at any point you would like to change Dominique's house, simply edit the sheet accordingly and reply here. ;)
