Brief Childhood History:Gwen was born to a publishing executive muggle father and a witch mother. Her mother owns a shop on Diagon Alley and her father works in downtown London so the Smith family lives in a old, grand townhouse with a fairly large garden in London. Gwen has two brothers Benjamin who is 13 and Scott who is six, and a sister Lucy who is eight. All of the Smith children are required by their father to attend muggle Primary School before attending Hogwarts.
Gwen loves all of her family and she has family in London, New York, and Scotland. Every Christmas she and her family fly to New York to visit her paternal grandparents. These visits sparked her interest in the outdoors because her whole family would go skiing in the mountains and she always enjoyed the view.
The maternal side of her family is British and are all magical. She spends Easter breaks with them and her Aunts and Uncles always give her magical toys and books to read before heading to Hogwarts.
Strengths: Gwen is strong-willed and very smart. She is loving and caring. Gwen likes for things to be easy-going. Drama doesn't work for her. Gwen would be good at Charms, Herbology, Potions and Divination.
Weaknesses: Gwen can be bossy when she gets irritated and frustrated. When she is stressed she has an extremely short temper. She doesn't like giggly girls and is afraid of failure. Gwen would be poor at Astronomy, and History of Magic.

I feel Gwen belongs in Ravenclaw because she loves school and learning and always has a book whether for school or enjoyment on hand and is quick to think on her feet.
