Brief Childhood History: Mathias is the second child of Matthew Watson and Elena Morris, half-blood and muggle born respectively. He grew up home schooled by his mother, his father being an Obliviator for the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes.
His childhood wasn’t anything extraordinary though. Most of the other children were muggles so he never really had friends who were like him, or understood him. Usually, when he would attempt to play with them, it ended up badly. Unable to control his magic, they always called him names or ran straight to their home when an outburst occurred. But he wasn’t really that much troubled by that, soon he would make tons of friends like him when he would enter Hogwarts. His favourite time of the year was the summer, since his older sister, Ruby, would come back for the summer. Always eager to listen to all she had to say about her year in Hogwarts! All the thing she learned and saw. She was nine years older than him, and was kind and helpful, but was always determined to learn as much as she could about all sort of things. She used to write to him every week while she was at school, which were one of the highlights of his weeks. He always had a good relationship with her, but eventually she grew distant as she approached the end of her schooling, and then she had gone. She moved to her place in London, working as a reporter for the Daily Prophet, the year before Mathias made his entry to the school.
The letter arrived on his birthday, what a marvellous day that was for him. Soon he would enter the one place he had dreamed of going all his childhood. Soon he would enter Hogwarts!
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Mathias is a calm and hard working person. He always try to go the end of everything he starts and he is always eager to learn things he don’t know about. He usually never tries to pick fights with others when they try to have a go at him, but when one of his friend his threatened, he his the first one to take the arms to defend them. He can prove to be crafty at times, trying to find alternative ways around a problem instead of going ahead head on. He was always amazed at even the smallest charms, and always eager to finally learn more of them. He classes he his most likely to excel at are probably Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, having shown aptitude in charmworks and a tendency at protecting his friends against their assailant.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): On the other side of the medal, Mathias is easily prone to be stressed out about minor things, and even worst about important stuff. He is really scared of heights, having fallen down his bedroom window once, attempting to get on the roof to get one of his toys back, so riding a broomstick is not an idea he really cherish. He has a sort of tunnel vision when concentrating on what he his doing, so much that he makes abstraction of everything that is happening around him, often leading to bad things. He finds both Astronomy and Divination to be a waste of time, which makes him more likely to put next to no effort in.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I think because of his eagerness to learn as well as his cunning and determination, he makes a worthy Ravenclaw.
