Brief Childhood History:While born in Ireland on the 23rd of August and having an Irish name, Meghan Cíara Niamh McAllister moved to Birmingham in Britain's West-Midlands with her parents when she was barely two. Therefore she can speak Irish but when speaking English there is nearly no difference in her pronunciation. She grew up with four sisters and one brother. Máire, the eldest, Ríona, Crystal and Beryl who are twins and her younger brother Cáelán who was born in Birmingham. Meghan grew up knowing of magic. Her father, Flynn McAllister has a job at the ministery. (which they had to move to Birmingham for) Her childhood was quiet and normal. She was taught not to tell anyone about their family being wizards but she also had a lot of wizard friends.
When her sisters went to Hogwarts Meghan was desperate to also go. She loved everything that had to do with magic so when she finally got her letter she was very happy.
Her parents both came from families that went to Ravenclaw and all her sisters were sorted into Ravenclaw. Meghan grew up in a household where your house didn't really matter. She comes from a loving family that never had any money problems to worry about. When younger she was usually the victim of her sisters' beryl and crystal's teasing. Especially Crystal could be mean and would often get in trouble at Hogwarts.
Meghan has been practising flying ever since she was able to get on a broomstick. Her goal in life is to play for the national Irish team as a chaser.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Meghan is very intelligent but her two best subjects are transfiguration and charms. She is quite a kind person. She's not very shy, she has learnt that from all her siblings. She's quite good at flying and playing quidditch because she has been practising for a very long time.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):Meghan is very stubborn. If she's sure she's right she won't give in easily. Over the years this has become less of an issue and she knows when to just give in. Sometimes she can't help herself though and she'll blurt out something she regrets later. Because she's not shy she can be quite fierce when it comes to people being unfriendly to her. Because of her long-term being bullied by Crystal and Beryl she can lose her temper quite quickly. Her worst subjects are Potions and History of Magic. The latter being because the teaching is boring and not the subject itself.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:I feel Meghan belongs in Ravenclaw because she's a very intelligent girl. She isn't interested in learning things she will never use in her life. She is interested in learning about things that may be useful later, for example things that could get her a job, however, she also has a mind that remembers useless facts and she loves randomly telling people about them. She doesn't let anyone fool her and will do anything to prevent that people make fools out of her friends. (I would prefer to wait until a spot in the ravenclaw house comes free)
