Brief Family History: Willow grew up in a normal family with a stay at home mother and a father who worked for the local news station as a cameraman. She also has a little brother, Sage, that is four years younger than herself. She grew up in a cottage-like home near many farms in Hawick; one of which was her grandparent’s on her father’s side. She went to grade school and made plenty of friends though none were her very best except for one girl named Kaylynn. Willow’s mother, Andrea Ashwood was a pure-blood witch who grew up in London, England where she attended Hogwarts and was a Ravenclaw Quidditch Team Captain. Gabe Adair, Willow’s father met Andrea in Muggle college where Andrea wanted to get a wider view of the Muggle world. Gabe and Andrew soon fell in love and married quickly after graduating and had Willow a year later. When Andrew finally told Gabe of her background, he accepted it very plainly and was ecstatic to know he married a witch. Willow was raised with magic as a part of her life and accepted it happily, but refrained from telling any of her friends who were all Muggles.
Strengths: Willow is one of those people who are extremely kind to everyone even if she doesn’t like them and no matter what circumstance. She is a fast reader and can absorb most information easily as reading is her one most favourite hobby in existence. She adores anything to do with reading or writing making classes like History of Magic and any essay easier for her. Not only is she a fast runner no matter what thanks to her long legs, she has quick reflexes and has a keen interest in Quidditch. Always willing to learn, Willow is a fantastic pupil. She is very trusting and keeps her mouth shut if a secret is shared with her that the other person doesn’t want to be spread around. One of her stronger traits, not exactly good or bad though, is that she is highly independent when it comes to work, projects, and school. Once of her few non-academic related strong points is her voice that she uses in choir anywhere and also her fondness for gardening and crafts.
Weaknesses: Willow is nice, but too nice sometimes which makes it so she can barely say no to anyone or anything. She is very shy and quiet around others if she doesn’t know them well. She is very timid and is embarrassed easily or cries easily if she’s injured or scared or in shock. Then she tends to drop, lose, or break her glasses which without she has terrible vision. She isn’t very good with hands on things unless it has to deal with plants or art, so she isn’t the best student in Potions, DADA or Transfiguration when it comes to anything besides essays. Constantly, she forgets small things like a job she had to do or maybe an item or something she wanted to say.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I think that Willow belongs in Ravenclaw more than any other house because for a few things. She’s not very brave or courageous so Gryffindor is crossed out on the list. Neither is she very mean or vain like Slytherins so that’s a no. She just doesn’t seem like a Hufflepuff to me either because of how much she has in common with Ravenclaws. Because of her brains and willingness to learn I think she’d make the ideal Ravenclaw student. It also is in her blood because most of her mother’s family and her mother herself had been in Ravenclaw; they share many of the same traits.
