Brief Family History: Chase was born the second son of Alessandra and Tycen Pennington, two independently wealthy members of high society. Tycen III, owns series of familial wineries in France, Australia, and Tuscany that have been passed down to him. Alessandra family owns the neighboring winery in Tuscany and is one of the premiere breeders and trainers of sport-horses.
Chase grew up on a horse, literally, because nothing could pull Alessa out of the saddle until she was six or seven months pregnant. He has been raised to value achievement and ambition and (to an extent) hard work. He has toured vineyards with his father, pruned the grapes, stomped them, and generally seen what it takes to bottle fine wine (although he doesn’t much understand the entire thing). Most of his time was spend with his mother, perfecting his riding skills and participating in three day eventing competitions as well as competing in Hunter/Jumper circuits.
His family stays out of wizarding politics and prefers to live their own comfortable life seeing to their own family affairs, which are often attached to both the magical world and muggle world (money is money and euros can easily be converted to galleons). They never much say the point of limiting their business ventures because of ‘blood’.
Strengths: He is very physically adept and fairly sociable. He is used to crowds and attention from competition, and thrives in stressful environments.
Weaknesses: He hasn’t spent much time outside of his family’s social circle or their equestrian circuit, so he finds a lot of things surprising and difficult to adapt to because the world is obviously much more than money, wine, and horses. He never spent much time indoors or with studies, so he’s not likely to take well to school work.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Slytherin, because he’s ambitious and comes from an innately wealthy background. He knows he doesn't need certain things to get ahead in life and relies on his own ambitions and that of his family for his future. In addition to that he wants to build upon what his family has and do better than his parents have.
