Brief Childhood History:
Ginger comes from a family of muggles. Her mother and father divorced amicably around the time she was two, with her father moving off to America, her older sister Beatrice in tow. Ginger remained behind with her mother, receiving frequent enough attention from her two parents as she grew. Her mother's parents are from Essex, and her great grandfather fought in the second world war, having once had the opportunity to shake Churchhill's hand. She lives in Cardiff, Wales, at the moment.
Ginger knew nothing about wizards, and showed relatively little signs of magic until her sister began dating one two years back. This man did not, however, expose that he was such until Ginger's birthday, when the invitation came from Hogwarts. Her sister's boyfriend sat her down and did his best to explain to both Ginger and her mom about the school and assuage any fears.

She is very ambitious, and liked math and science in school. She'll be very good at Arithmancy and Potions.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
She's occasionally a little touchy on the subject of parents and is afraid of the usual creepy crawlies. In school this'll lead to trouble with Care of Magical Creatures.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
I feel Ginger would do best in Slytherin. I know the House is full and all, but I think that's where she'd belong. I think it'd be a great way to start developing her ambitious nature, and think that good-natured Slytherins would go a long way toward clearing up the old stigma attached to that House.
