First and Last Name: Poppy Virginia Honeycutt

Bloodline: Pureblood
Hair Color: Auburn
Eye Color: Green
General Build: Average
Height: Tall

Birthplace: Ottery St. Catchpole

Brief Childhood History:
Poppy was born the youngest of two children to Olive and Richard Honeycutt. She and her older sister, Peabo, follow the family’s bloodline, carrying on the magical gene. The small family is all very close, focusing on the importance of family and friends. Her mother runs a library and her father is a poet and song writer.  Poppy grew a little closer to her parents when her sister went off to Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw. Peabo was a little jealous of this when she returned over summer holidays, giving Poppy a bit of a hard time at the beginning of break. It didn’t take long for the two girls to return to how they once were, becoming the best of friends again. They both are excited for Poppy to go to Hogwarts.

Poppy grew up with responsibilities, but still has a hard time every now and then not procrastinating. Imagination was encouraged in the home, so she has a tendency to pretend things in order to finish her chores but still be able to have fun. The same thing goes for handling any monotonous task.  She shared her father’s love of music, often believing that no matter what the situation, there will always be a song for it. It is hard to find this tall girl not humming or drumming out a bit of a song.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):
Poppy is a very loyal and supportive girl. When she makes a friend, she does what she can for them. Sometimes it means she does more for others than herself, but that doesn’t bother the girl at all. She loves giving and helping others and doesn’t have hardly a bad bone in her body. Poppy is very imaginative and makes the best out of every situation.

Academically, Poppy is very good with her wand work. She handles charms and transfiguration quite well. She is a very articulate girl and had no trouble with pronouncing her spells properly.

Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
While Poppy is loyal and supportive, she is also a bit niave and forgives a bit too easily. It is good to look for the best in people, but sometimes it causes her to trust a bit too easily. She sometimes has a hard time judging who she should tell things to and what she should keep to herself. This causes her to be a bit of a gossip without realizing it.

Academically, Poppy has trouble with Defense Against the Dark Arts, mostly because she is so trusting, it is hard for her to believe that she would need to protect herself from anything. She also gets a little bored during History of Magic  and the only thing she likes about Herbology is that it is an excuse to play in dirt.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Hufflepuff, without a doubt. Poppy is a very hardworking girl, even if she has to use her imagination to finish some tasks. She is loyal to a fault and looks pretty cute in yellow.
