Brief Childhood History: Ryleigh lives on a farm with her muggle mother, Katherine, and wizard father, Eli. She has a younger brother named Hunter who is 3 years old now. She owns a small, blue Abyssinian kitten named Millie.
Her mother, Katherine is a muggle from the United States of America. Her father is a wizard who grew up on the British country side. They met when Katherine came to London to visit sick Auntie Hannah. She met Eli in a small Pub shortly after Aunt Hannah had passed. They didn’t click quite instantly. In fact, Katherine didn’t care for Elias and his British charm much at all. Elias on the other hand, was enchanted by the young Katherine. They had a wedding on Eli’s farm, which he had inherited from Grandpa Henry. They now raise their children on that very farm.
Ryleigh grew up without many friends. Being a poor farmer’s daughter in the eyes of everyone else, she was teased and excluded growing up. She hoped Hogwarts would change all that.
Ryleigh is closer to her father than anyone. The only thing she doesn’t like about going to Hogwarts is not getting to spend every day with him helping out on the farm. She loves her mother too, but she is definitely a daddy’s girl.
Ryleigh grew up as quite a farm girl. She has been able to ride a horse since she was 5. She spends hours just being outside, enjoying the fresh air of the country side. She has had her own horse since she was 6. Her name is Orchid. When Orchid got sick the summer Ryleigh was 10, Ryleigh spent all night every night n Orchid’s stall until the horse was better. Ryleigh being raised on a farm gave her a way with animals.
Ryleigh started school just like any girl Tillington. She started going to school at age 4, attending the Early Years program at Tillington Manor Primary School. She attended TMP until this year when she left the muggle school to attend Hogwarts.
Growing up, Ryleigh lived for the most part in the muggle world, but her father did tell her stories as she grew up. The stories of magic and Hogwarts he told left her dreaming of being a wizard just like him.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): She is really good at learning things quickly. Ryleigh is quite smart for her age. She is also a hard worker and has a lot of determination. She is helpful and sweet. She also is very patient. Because of her life on the farm, I am sure she will do well in Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): She is not much of a conversationalist. Ryleigh is a very shy girl. She also has very low self esteem. She might not do so well in Defense Against the Dark Arts with her tendency to be timid.
