Brief Childhood History: Natasja grew up in a single family household. Her father was a Muggle-born wizard, and was a Gryffindor.  Her mother was a Pureblood Slytherin, who was later shunned by her family for marrying a Muggle. Her mother died shortly after giving birth to her younger brother when she was five.  Her father never remarried because he feels could never love another woman the way he loved her mother.  Her father works for the Ministry of Magic in the Improper Use of Magic Office.  
Natasja’s father raised them like regular Muggle children. She knew nothing of her magical heritage until she was seven, when her little brother broke the head off her baby doll. She became angry and soon her little brother’s pants caught on fire. She became afraid and hid in her closet.  Her father then began to explain to her about her mother and her magical abilities.  He told her that she must learn self-control and that when she was older she would attend a school that would help her more than he could since it had been years since he had used magic.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Natasja will most likely excel in Herbology since she loves nature. She's likes challenges so she'll do well in Potions class as well. Natasja is an extremely friendly person. She will smile and talk to anyone that's around her. She treasures all of her friendships and considers all of the people she trusts like family. She never fails to help those in need.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): She probably won’t do well in Defense Against the Dark Arts because she’s not really into violence and Astronomy because she’ll find it to be boring. Natasja does have a wild imagination. Embracing a high intolerance for imperfection, Natasja ruthlessly drills herself towards perfection.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I feel that Natasja would belong in Hufflepuff because she is hardworking and very humble.  Even when she does succeed in things, she does not brag and she is loyal to all that befriend her.

Before we can sort you, there are some things I'm going to have to ask you to change on your character sheet.

First, as stated at the top of the Sorting Hat forum:

- Your character must have been born and raised somewhere in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland. (Hogwarts is a school for British and Irish witches and wizards after all!)

While it is possible for Natasja to be of Russian heritage, she could not be born in Russia, or else she would be attending a Russian school for witchcraft and wizardry, not a British one. Similarly, for her parents to have attended Hogwarts, they must have both also been born and raised in Britain. Please edit her birthplace to somewhere within the United Kingdom.

On another note, you say that her father was a muggle, but that he was a Gryffindor. Do you mean he was a muggle-born wizard? After all, pure muggles don't go to Hogwarts. Please clarify that as well.

Finally, please edit the Strengths section so that it reads as a sentence, not as a list.

Once you've made these changes, change the title of this thread from 'pending' to 'edited' and we can continue.
