Brief Childhood History: Liz Harth and Darran Wigton, both went to Hogwarts. Darran was in Ravenclaw and a Pure-Blood, while Liz was a Hufflepuff and a Muggle-born. They got marry a few years after graduating and a year later, on the 16th of September Dawn was born.
They were a very happy family, until both died while Voldmort was in control, it is unknown if they died battling or if Liz, being a "Mudblood" was captured and killed. But what is known is that, that very day, Liz had a feeling, a very bad feeling. She had a few very close calls in the past week but didn't want to bother Darran with her nuisance. So as usual she went to drop of 2 year old Dawn at the daycare , as like every Monday as Darran and Liz's job schedule made that every Monday they would only come home at 7 o'clock and with most friends living far away, they had to leave Dawn at a Muggle daycare center but today she gave Dawn her heart necklace for good luck. Many hours past and at 7 o'clock no one came to pick up the baby, the lady waited and waited. She had a phone number and a address, the lady, that was fairly young, called the Wigton house a few times, no answer. Finally getting a bit worried she walked over to the house address, knocked and yet again no answer. The lady was in a very tight postion. She decided to go to the police center. She told the officer her problem said she couldn't bring the baby home, as she didn't want to be responsible and didn't know if it was the right thing. The officer agreed and took Dawn and brought her to an orphanage and if the parents went to the daycare they would have direction's to go to the orphanage.
Days, weeks passed and no one, finally they declared Liz and Darran dead and Dawn was left at the orphanage and was put of adoption. When Dawn was 3 a couple adopted Dawn and she was very happy. The Ravensdale were a medium classed couple and lived in he suburbs at the South of London. At 6 Dawn started to show she was a witch, but the Ravensdale's being Muggles didn't know that there daughter was a witch. At 10 Dawn got a letter from Hogwarts saying she was accepted. Ravensdale actually took the whole wizard thing well.
A few days before going to Hogwarts Dona and John decide to tell Dawn the truth. Dawn was very confused and a bit angry at them, she didn't talk to them until the day she had to go. As they went over to platform 9 and 10, they were all very confused, that is only till Dawn saw a boy ran into the wall between platform 9 and 10. She then understood. As she got ready, she realized she was going to miss her "parents" dearly so she looked back, and smiled and said she forgave them. Not wanting to do a sobby goodbye she ran into the wall and there in all its glory was platform 9 3/4 full of wizards and witches.
Dawn on the train looked at her heart necklace and realized it was a locket, but it was a bit rusted. But Dawn knew that her true identity was in it.
Strengths:Dawn is very selfless and doesn't mind letting others have the spotlight. She is very humble and loyal, sometimes to a fault. Dawn was never excellent in school but was very hardworking and tries her best in everything She can also be very patient. Dawn is very good at charms. She loves astronomy and potions
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Dawn can be a bit naive and gullible. And with her trusting nature she and be manipulated, but with her cherry attitude she never takes things to seriously. And sometimes that also gets her in trouble. Dawn s horrible in History of Magic and Flying.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I think Dawn belongs in Hufflepuff. She's loyal, patient and hardworking. She isn't brave like Gryffindor or clever like Ravenclaw or ambitious like Slythiern
