Brief Childhood History: Discordia was born to successful potioneers; Oriana and Bruce and grew up surrounded by her Fathers family in a very large house on the Isle Of Skye. She is the eldest daughter of three and is very close her younger twin sisters Vesta and Minerva. Discordia’s Mother comes from the Rizzo family, a very prestigious, pure blooded family from Italy, who were of course delighted to be joined by the successful, pure blooded Scottish Family; The Wards. Discordia and her sisters were brought up to be very proud of their heritage, her family (or at least her parents) declare that they hold nothing against half blooded or muggle born witches and wizards, but are firm on the fact that they would far rather the girls stuck with pure blooded wizards, when it came to finding a partner.
Discordia has never had to worry about money as her family are very wealthy and she was therefore spoiled as a child, but always taught that “With great wealth, comes great responsibility!” Discordia never really understood what that meant, but somehow it made her feel very important. Bruce and the rest of his family were very chaotic and growing up in that environment resulted in Discordia having a nose for trouble, to begin with she was clumsy and often caught, but as she grew, she realised two things; the first, that it was easy to hoist the blame onto others, and the second, that it was most fun when you could convince the victim, that it was entirely their own doing.
Discordia and her sisters are homeschooled by their Scottish Grandmother, she was an eccentric woman, with shrivelled skin and piercing green eyes, but she was a very wise and skilled witch and she pushed the girls into academic excellence, punishing them when they failed, but providing excellent rewards for excelling themselves. The Ward family have attended Hogwarts for many generations, and have all been in the Ravenclaw House, it has always been assumed by most of the family that Discordia will follow suit, but her Grand Mother wants to make doubly sure.
Discordia and her sisters spend every summer in Italy with their Mother’ family, this is Discordia’s favourite time of year, when her Grand Mother stops forcing her to study and she is surrounded by smart wealthy Italians, who love to spoil her. She often feels she fits in more with her Mother’s side of the family as they all share the same well built frame, with slightly tanned skin and black hair, indeed, the only difference between the Ward girls and their Italian relatives was that they shared their Grand Mothers, and their fathers deep green eyes.

Strengths (At least three, including Personality and Academic): Discordia has always taken an interest in potions, as it she has been surrounded by them since she was a very small child, and it is expected by her family that she will one day take over from her parents as a potioneer. However, Discordia’s real interest and skill lies in Charms class, as she loves the endless possibilities for mischief that lie within it. Discordia is very confident in herself and always gets the job done. She is fiercely loyal to her family and very determined to be successful in everything she wants to do.
Weaknesses (At least three, including Personality and Academic):Discordia is very slow to trust and often comes off as hostile to people who she doesn’t know. She is also quick to anger but slow to show, and she has no issues in taking revenge, for instance; Discorda once over heard a girl from her village say something mean about her sister Vesta, instead of declaring her anger and starting an argument, she smiled and brushed it off, but next time she went round to the girls house, she left an enchanted pair of scissors in her room, which promptly cut up all her books and ripped her curtains and bed sheets to shreds, even better, she then managed to pin the blame onto the girl who had started it. She sees very little point in learning Astronomy and Ancient Runes and therefore let’s herself relax in these lessons, often causing trouble and completing minimal work to a poorer standard.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Discorida feels she belongs in Ravenclaw like the rest of her family, however, although she is intelligent, she is also very cunning and ambitious, and is willing to do what ever she needs to reach her goals (this comes from her Mother's side of the family, who obviously didn't attend Hogwarts) for this reason, I feel she actually belongs in Slytherin.
