First and Last Name: Ivy Quinn

Bloodline: Half-Blood
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Grayish blue
General Build: Average
Height: Average

Birthplace: Bantry, Ireland
Brief Childhood History: Noland and Riona Quinn came from two entirely different worlds. Noland had spent his life as a muggle and had grown up in the beautiful Irish countryside. It wasn’t until he met and fell in love with a witch named Riona that he learned of the magic in the world. Riona was a city girl and had spent her life in the bustling capitol of Ireland. After their marriage the newlyweds bought a house in the coastal city of Bantry. It was a place that offered them both the fast-paced environment of a city and the tranquil setting of the country.

Several years after their marriage they conceived a child. Their happiness over the conception was, however, short-lived. The pregnancy was very hard on Riona and no amount of magic or muggle medicine could help. She lasted only long enough to see that her child, a baby girl, made it safely into the world. She passed away the day after the birth.
Overcome with grief after his wife’s death, Noland could not stand to live in the house that they had bought together. He took his newly born daughter, Ivy, and moved to Bere Island, a very small island off the coast of south-western Ireland. He bought a small house in the village of Rerrin.

With only her muggle father to raise her, Ivy grew up not knowing about the existence of magic. In the case that she did not possess magic herself her father wanted her to live without knowing about the magical world. He reasoned that it would only disappoint her if she did not have the same talent for magic as her witch mother but if she did turn out to be a witch herself it would be a very happy surprise.

Since her father worked most of the time to support the small family, Ivy grew to be the village’s pet. The small population of the island made sure that she knew everyone and everyone knew her. She could hardly walk down the street without being offered an array of delicious foods and drinks by all of her neighbors. Always sweet and polite she never refused but offered to replay the kindness by helping them out with chores or errands they needed done.

When not being fawned over by the village’s population, Ivy liked to spend time gazing out into the fields where the sheep and other animals roamed. She went out of her way to offer the few farmers that lived in the village assistance in dealing with the animals and it was often noted that she was very good with any animal.

Her first and only magical incident occurred when Ivy was alone, wandering the fields where a variety of animals roamed near the village. She had followed the cry of a wounded animal pretty far across the field before she found it lying in the grass, red blood staining the green around it. She knelt down and touched her hand to its body trying to soothe it and as tears gathered up in her eyes at the animal’s pain she saw that the wound was somehow healing. After its fast recovery the animal got to its feet and ran away, leaving Ivy still kneeling in the grass, dumbstruck at what had happened. She never told anyone about the incident until her acceptance letter to Hogwarts arrived.

The day that she got her letter her father sat her down and explained all he knew about the wizarding world and told her about her mother, who had been a witch. At first she was skeptical but she had never known her father to lie to her. Now, she is excited that she gets to learn the secrets of magic but nervous about leaving the only home she has ever known and all of her ‘extended’ family.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Throughout her childhood she was loyal and kind to anyone who lived in her village and once she gets to know someone well enough she will treat them like a loved member of her family. She has a great fondness for animals and is very calm and quiet when dealing with them. She is a hard-worker and strives to do the best job she can. She will probably excel in the Care of Magical creatures class and at healing spells, as well as Herbology. In her other classes she will do well but will probably not stand out among the smartest of her age.

Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Growing up in such a small, remote place has made her very wary of strangers. Whenever she was faced with someone that she had not known for most of her life she will become very quiet and nervous. Being used to the openness of the country side she is very timid in bigger cities and even within Hogwarts. She is also naive and easily influenced to other people's ways of thinking. She knows hardly anything about the wizarding world or their customs. One of her worst subjects might be History of Magic and she will probably not be a good flier.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Ivy would be best suited for Hufflepuff because of her kindness and loyalty. She lacks the intelligence of Ravenclaw, the bravery of Gryffindor and the cunning of Slytherin.

Heya Ivy and welcome to HPRPG~!

Your sheet looks good, however we need at least one more personality strength and personality weakness for a minimum of three. ^^ <3

Once you've made the changes just change the title from 'pending' to 'edited'.
