Brief Childhood History: Paisley was born into a very troublesome family of eight. Being the youngest, it was even harder. (At least, in Paisley’s point of view.) Her older triplet sisters were a nuisance, obsessed with outdoing each other in everything, especially ‘fashion’. Belinda and Melinda (18) were always the worse ones though, for Bryn wasn’t that bad. Draven (19) liked pulling tricks and pranks on the family, even when Paisley was only two years old. Mckenna (20) was the magic obsessed one, always showing off to the family. Paisley didn’t mind Mckenna as much though. She was always fascinated by magic. Paisley was ecstatic when she received a letter from Hogwarts.
Even with six children, a family owl, and the triplets’ cat, Paisley’s parents had decided on a small house to live in. She had to share a room with Mckenna, while Draven got his own room. She didn’t mind sharing a room that much, because Mckenna had always been her favorite sibling. Mckenna even tried to teach Paisley some basic magic, not that she succeeded or anything. Mckenna’s wand wasn’t right for Paisley. (That wasn’t the only reason why the spells didn’t work…) Mckenna also tried to teach Paisley how to fly (with some help from Draven), however, it didn’t work so well.
When her oldest sibling moved out, there was much more room in the house, so Paisley got her own room. After they had moved out, Paisley needed company, so she started interacting more at school. It didn’t work too well, but she had managed to make a friend. It was hard though, because her house was filled with magical items. She had to ask her parents to put charms on certain items so they wouldn’t appear unusual. She was sad, yet happy, when she was leaving for Hogwarts.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Paisley, being the careful listener she is, usually says her spells and charms the right way, though she has the occasional slip up. She studies for only the classes she likes, for she doesn’t have enough motivation to make an excellent essay for her least liked class, Potions. However, if it were for Charms, she would put extra time into it. (Charms is her favorite and best subject.) Paisley is more of a listener, rather than a speaker. She doesn’t like to raise her voice too much. Sometimes she feels that her peers forget about her during a conversation, though she openly admits that it’s her fault for getting forgotten. After all, she only speaks a few words or sentences. Sometimes they may not be heard, because of her quiet, shy voice, but she doesn’t mind as much as she did before. Paisley got used to it soon enough.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Paisley was never very good at mixing ingredients together. She didn’t have the patience to read cook books either. Even after countless times in the kitchen, she never managed to accomplish the simple task. As potions class is usually about mixing ingredients and reading the instructions on the board, Paisley would probably fail unless she tried very, very hard.
Paisley was also not a big fan of reading books. She preferred writing because she could create her own world that she could get lost in.
Paisley is also very clumsy. Sometimes she’ll trip over her own two feet, and sometimes over nothing at all. Occasionally, her wand will slip out of her hand and hit something totally unintended. She’s embarrassed by her clumsiness.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I think that Paisley should be placed in either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. Ravenclaw, because she thinks things through, even though she doesn’t read 24/7. Ravenclaw members are known for their wit and wisdom. I think that Paisley has both of those traits.
