Brief Childhood History: Raelyn's parents were thrilled when they found out they were going to have a baby girl. They stacked a room with child books, and painted it like outer space, stars, galaxies, you name it! Rae, as she is sometimes called, was born January 1st.
On her 6th birthday, her parents told her about the wizarding world, and how she was most likely their own little witch. She read every childrens book in the house, and eventually grew into the bigger books. She occasionally would say a fact which she learned from her books. She really loved the stars and plants, and her parents started buying her books about that.
She always went to a special private school, uniforms and all. The rich snooty type. No one liked her. They all thought she was weird, so she had no friends. She would normally be found in the library or the courtyard, reading a book, or thinking. There was always a clique that liked to call her names. They weren't very clever. Things like "weirdo" or "space-cadet." Most of the time she ignored them and closed her eyes. When she got home, she would change into something casual, and grab a ball, and just throw it at a wall. One time, when she was about 8, the girls came for "the daily teasing," this time, they went to far. She had heard some smart retorts, and started talking back. The girls got real mad, and one punched Rae. When Rae got back up, she wanted to punch back, but before she could, her ball came at lightning speed and hit the girl in the face. It hovered threateningly in the air, and the other girls ran. Sadly, Raelyn was expelled, the other girl only taken out for a few days.
Her parents reacted strangely at first, thrilled that their little girl was definitely a witch, but then they grounded her, taking away her books, and trapping her inside. She never went to a public or private school again. She was forever home schooled.
A few months before she turned 11, she received the letter that she had been accepted to Hogwarts. They went to Diagon Alley as soon as they could.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Rae isn't normally nice, and only is when she really trusts someone. She is smart, and normally thinks things through before acting. She works better when under pressure, and even better when under pressure of her enemies. Growing up in a room decorated with nebulae, galaxies, an stars, she is naturally good at Astronomy, and often goes star gazing. With her love of nature, makes Herbology pretty easy.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Rae can be really cold and mean, and when she's really mad, she tends to not think before acting. She mumbles to herself often, and gets into trouble for a lot of the things she says. She is naturally bad at Charms, and can hardly lift a feather to save her life. She is also bad at Transfiguration, and is afraid she might kill her animal when is transfigures.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Raelyn is cold, and often mean, though with tiny hints of nice, she would fit in well with Slytherin and their cunning kids, with the will to try anything, even if their not supposed to. And sometimes, she can be, up to no good.
