What's this? Another reminder? (Your House and You)

Have you had enough yet?

In the Harry Potter books, a lot of focus is put on house unity. While there are always people that your character isn't going to know or bother with in their house, they are with their housemates a fair bit. No, you don't have time to play out all of these interactions, but it's true. They live together, have classes together, eat meals together... It's really safe to say that your character will at least recognize members of their own house as such. They'd probably also know the names at the very least of people, especially those of the same gender since they sleep in the same room and all, of their own year.

The house points race is also something that's stressed as very important in the books. Most students are interested in earning and not losing points for their house. Yes, of course there will be a few who don't care about such things, but remember that the majority do, and they're likely to get angry with students that lose points for the house.

I'm not saying that every character has to be all about house unity, but try to remember that even though you're interacting with characters from all houses, your character still lives with the other members of their own house.

This has been another friendly reminder. :D Happy RPing~

all my love for Tany
