Birthplace: York, England
Brief Family History: (5-10 sentences on what your character's life was like before Hogwarts) Amelia White grew up in a large house just outside of York, England.  Amelia's father is a Brittish wizard and attended Hogwarts, and her mother is a Pure-blooded American witch who attended The Salem Witches Institute, although her mother moved to England to become a healer. Amelia also has an older brother named Mark who is studying wand-making in Ireland. Growing up, Amelia had a hard time with magic. In fact, she was thought to be a squib because she did not do magic until the day before her 11th birthday. Because of this, Amelia was an energetic little kid, leaping over rocks and running in the creek behind her house. As soon as she got her school books, she read those books time and time again, to make sure she wasn't the most idiotic kid at Hogwarts.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Strengths in Personality include  Leadership, Intelligence, Creativity, and Adventure. Amelia has always been headstrong, which has allowed her to grow in these personal strengths. Strengths in Academics include Charms, Transfiguration, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Astronomy. Amelia has always done well in subjects that she finds interesting, which makes her work harder.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Weakness in Personality include Relationships and fears. Amelia has always chosen to be smart and independent than have lots of friends, although she does have a few best friends. Weakness in Academics include Test Taking and Arithmancy. Amelia doesn't have the patience for tests, unless they are practical. Oh, and Amelia can't do math. Ever.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
Amelia is a very headstrong witch that is intelligent and loves to be creative and learn, but  what Amelia likes most is adventure, which is why she should be in Gryffindor.

Add detail!  We don't want too much detail, in that we want to leave space for your character to grow, but we want to know as much about your character's history as you know.

Notice that I say "your character."  You are not your character.  This should be in third person, just like everything else relating to your character on the board.

Heya Amelia and welcome again to HPRPG~!

However, there're still some things that need to be expanded on with your character sheet.

Firstly, Amelia's history -- the minimum/general amount is 5-10 sentences to start with, so that should be what you're aiming for. Of course, you're not just aiming to fill those sentences with nothing, you're aiming to get us to get to know your character. All we know right now is what he parent's names were, where they attended, where Amelia chose to attend, and what her brother does. That really doesn't give us a grounds on which to understand Amelia or how she grew up. Check out some approved sheets if you need help understanding what I mean. <3

Second, her strengths and weaknesses need expanding as well. Again, we have the basic outline of what her strengths and weaknesses are, but why. Why is she a strong leader, what makes her intelligence, what about relationships is she weak at, and so on. Again, feel free to check out some other sheets for an idea on what we're looking for.

Lastly... To attend Hogwarts you have to be born and raised in the UK and, unfortunately, as wonderful as Salem is... It's in America and, therefore, Amelia wouldn't be attending Hogwarts if she were born there.

If you want to be sorted in a house other than the one listed on your character sheet, you should edit that section to reflect the house you want her to be in.  You'll also have to choose one house and not pick two secondary ones.
