First and Last Name:Freya Spektor

Bloodline:Pureblood
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Greyish, greenish blue
General Build: Average

Birthplace: At the Spektor house in the Cotswalds

Brief Childhood History: Freya was born into an old pureblood family on the 18th of October. Her Mother, Juno, has only two great loves in her life: money and upholding the family name, Freya's twin brother Dante comes in third on the list whilst Freya is somewhere much lower. Although Freya and Dante had never managed to find out for certain they had always been suspicious of their mother's involvement with Deatheaters; there are always sinister characters wondering around her house at home. Her father went missing when she was eight and her mother now refuses to mention his name; Syrus.  Freya and her twin brother Dante are very close; despite fitting in much better with Juno's ideas of a 'perfect child', he always looks out for her. She also has a grown up sister, Fallon, who works in the Department of Mysteries. Freya was home schooled until her father disappeared and her mother lost interest in the twin's education. Her old tutor, Professer Moggach, had focused, mostly, on the family history although they did get a basic grounding in the theory of magic. Despite laughing at his lisp and his limp, Freya had become very fond of Proffesser Maggoch who would always lend her his most interesting books.

The event Freya would dread all year was the Spektor New Year Ball where she had to endure her mother's presence all night and rub shoulders with countless Slytherin adults and their equally loathsome offspring. When her father had been around he had taught her to dance the waltz at one year's ball and they had joked over dancing right into the ballroom's central fountain. Much to her mother's disgust. Freya still misses her father bitterly and can not help but suspect her mother had had something to do with it some how. She still wore the gold locket her father had slipped under her pillow the night he left despite the fact that she had never told her siblings about it, not wanting to rub in the fact that Freya had been his favourite.
Freya had often wondered whether the Spektor family really had been as fearsome as her old tutor had depicted them. It was true that they had all been Slytherins, but they couldn't have been all bad. Dante and her father certainly wern't. Her mother was the only really evil one in the family and she wasn't Spektor by blood.

When the Hogwarts letters had gone out in the summer, Freya's had been half a day late because of the Hogwarts post owls collision with a muggle shooting party. Dante had celebrated loudly by waving his in front of her face with alarming enthusiasm. She had packed herself a suitcase in preparation to run away in shame when the slightly battered looking bundle of feathers had flustered it's way through her window. Never had she been more relieved; up until this point she had had a niggling worry that she would end up as a squib.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Freya spent most of her early life being over shadowed by her brother and as a result became inseparable from her books. She reads voraciously and carrys one around with her so that she can open it should she ever find herself in an awkward situation. She has developed a good memory for retaining useless facts from the books she reads. Having been trained in some very basic magical theory by her childhood tutor, Freya has unearthed a budding interest in Charms and Transfiguration and is very excited in getting to practice the spells she has learnt about for real. She has the ability to excell at anything she puts her mind to so no doubt these subjects will be her best. In her reluctance to join in with her mother's ridiculous 'blood over brains' mantra, Freya is determined to make some new friends from all walks of life..including muggleborns and Hufflepuffs.. as long as Mummy dearest never finds out.

Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Freya has been a fearful child since her father disappeared, to the extent that run-ins with her overbearing mother terrified her. Used to keeping her head down at home, sometimes Freya's slightly aloof qualities can be mistaken for rudeness. She also can come across as secretive, just because she and her brother had become experts in lying to their mother. Freya also appears to be very bad at anything involving numbers (Arithmancy will surely not be her strong point) and has no patience for the ideas surrounding Divination.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Her love of books and thirst for knowledge suggest that Ravenclaw is the only place for Freya, especially as I can't see any of her traits being appropriate elsewhere! (I will hang around for a free spot!)

Hi and welcome to hprpg :D The sheet looks great (sorry for the delay on getting to it), but there's one small thing we're gonna have to ask you to alter for clarification. Children under the age of 17 are not allowed to do magic outside of school, so Freya's first hands on practice with magic wouldn't be until she got to Hogwarts. She can study theory, of course, but no practice.  :sweatdrop:
