Brief Childhood History:
It was a gloomy November morning of eleven years ago when Ivan Zwiett first met Danielle Clark, a squib that was to change him for a while. He came to Belfast for an International Dragon Breeder’s convention as an unattainable spirit. Something went wrong with the hotel reservation, and Ivan was forced to either go to a muggle-hotel or to accept the invitation of his father’s “always angry” friend Barnabas Clark and stay at his home. Unwillingly he accepted the invitation. Alas, there he met Danielle! From the moment he saw her he fell in love. He sent a letter to his family back to where he’s from and worked hard days and nights just to impress Danielle. Three months later, there was a wedding. Once wild spirit, Ivan was now calm and safe, chained with a golden ring and vows of eternal love.
Another November came cuddling a baby wrapped in silky blankets. At first, Ivan embraced the responsible role of a father joyfully, but the wild spirit inside him was suddenly awoken. He accepted a job in his homeland three years later and went away, never to come back . Cyclamen grew up with her mother and her rather stern grandfather, mocked by her pureblood aunt, uncle and their children, spending every summer with her father and dragons. She never met her father’s family, as they publically disowned him after marrying a squib and ruining their bloodline. Being a child of divorced parents, never having any friends her own age and being constantly made fun off by her cousins made Cyclamen’s personality the way it is. Before she got the letter, the only two people who knew about her magical abilities were her mother and her father, so the rest of the family was quite shocked.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):
There isn’t very much to say about Cyclamen’s personality, as she is quite shy and rarely shows her feelings, but she’s well known for her modesty and loyalty. The people who Cyclamen considers as friends are rare, but lucky. Having Cyclamen as a friend is beautiful. She is a good listener.
As for her skills at school, well, anything related to plants and magical creatures is her thing. There is a few spells non-related to plants, magical creatures or potion preparation that she’s good at. It is obvious that her favorite classes are Potions, Herbology and the Care of Magical Creatures. Sometimes she might be good at DADA, depends on which topic they are covering.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
If having Cyclamen for a friend is a dream, then having her for an enemy is a nightmare. At the rare moments of anger her tongue is more poisonous than the serpent’s. She is too closed up and has some trouble of befriending people. Sometimes she has pathetic moments. Although it never happens in front of anyone else but her, it is worth to be mentioned as it shows how sorry she feels for herself. Those “moments” are followed by some sad poems and awful singing of sad songs. She is terrible at all the subjects except for the ones mentioned above. Her worst class she keeps enrolling is astronomy. She has never had a crush on anyone or even felt “puppy love” and is literally allergic to love literature and poetry.
What House You Feel Your Character Belong and Why:
She could belong to Hufflepuff or Slytherin, but more likely Hufflepuff. She’s loyal and modest, if that could be called a Hufflepuff’s vice, but is always gloomy and quite ambitious, and that puts her to Slytherin. However, people she cares are more important to her than the ambitions, so that excludes her from Slytherin too. Either way, she’s magical and wouldn’t mind being sorted in any house.
