Hair Color: Dark brown, often mistaken for black.
Eye Color: Stormy grey, but classified as blue.
General Build: Average
Height: Short
Birthplace: Bristol, United Kingdom
Brief Childhood History: Kyle was born in Bristol, but at a young age he moved to London. He was always clever, enjoying jigsaw puzzles and riddles. Whenever his father's side of the family visited, Kyle entertained them by putting said puzzles together, for he was very young and spent most of his time completing jigsaws. When his mother's side of the family visited, however, Kyle was allowed to have more fun. He demonstrated some control over magic, though he could only do one small task; he could completely removed creases from folded paper, for what good it was worth. He would wad up paper balls and smooth them out whenever his mother's friends and relatives would visit. It was a peculiar thing Kyle did, but he enjoyed it.
As Kyle grew, he became less and less interested in his paper trick. he wanted to do more, and he knew that in three years, when he turned eleven, he would go to a school to learn magic. His powers were somewhat sad, and though he had mastered one trick, he could do no other magic, not even on accident. Becoming frustrated, he asked his mom whether or not she would love him if he could not do magic. She had said, "Of course dear, I will always love you." After hearing those words, Kyle was given new found energy, and even though he still could only do one trick, he was encouraged.
Finally, Kyle turned eleven. It was in mid-February, an he remembered his mother had arrived home early from her nursing job at St. Mungo's. His father had taken the day off to bond with Kyle; today was a school holiday and Kyle stayed home. His birthday present was a small amethyst set in sterling a sterling silver band. It was enchanted; the ring was always a comfortable size and would fit him forever. He slipped it onto his left middle finger, where it remains today as a token of his mother's love.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Kyle can easily follow simple instructions while at the same time adding his own flare. He loves to experiment with different concoctions which often get him into trouble. Kyle will likely excel at Potions and Transfiguration. He is also very quick to make friends, and he considers himself to have many friends. However, he has a tendency to stray from those he disagrees with and he has one or two really good friends. Kyle is also one to do as he is asked, within measures. Many adults like him because he is polite.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Kyle hates work or studies that seem unnecessary. He views as a waste of time and therefore does terribly in said subjects which include Divination and History of Magic. Kyle is also very untrustworthy, and usually never shares his secrets with anyone, regardless of how well they get along and how long he has known someone. Lastly, Kyle is very quick tempered. He gets angry fast and can boil over a subject for days plotting revenges that he never carries out.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Kyle loves to try to exceed and will sometimes try small spells that may be designed for him to learn the next year. He doesn't try anything too dangerous or difficult, but he likes to challenge himself. He also will sometimes add extras into his potions, which rarely result in anything favorable to the teacher, but Kyle considers it a learning experience anyways. Because of his bravery in these experiments and his courage to do them despite possible consequences, Kyle belongs in Gryffindor.

Here at HPRPG, we format our paragraphs with double returns. This just means we leave a space between paragraphs so that everything is more readable — like how I'm formatting right now. ;)
Now, I'm going to have to ask you to remove the magical properties of Kyle's ring. The comfortable size part can stay, because we know there are charms that can do that, but the property where the ring reacts to his mother will have to be applied for in the future.
You will also need to provide at least two more personality strengths and two personality weaknesses for Kyle. Right now that section seems wholly academic-orientated. We want to know if Kyle is really friendly or stubborn or shy. Things like that. :) And finally, I'm not really sure what you mean when you say Kyle is brave because he 'goes out on a limb with spells and other items'. Do you mean he experiments with spells and items or he tries to perform spells that are out of his skill level? If so, he won't really be able to do either of those things, since it would be dangerous and we have rules that state which spells each year level can perform. And loyalty is actually a Hufflepuff trait, so if you could just maybe expand more on Kyle Gryffindor-ness, that would be great.
Once you've done all that, just change your title from 'pending' to 'edited'!
