Brief Childhood History: Born to Callum Donnovan and Aislin Donnovan neé O'Shea, Shae is an only child. Both Callum and Aislin are Healers currently working for St. Mungos. Callum works for the Spell Damage ward and Aislin works in the Potions and Plant Poisoning ward. Shae grew up with doting parents in the Dublin countryside. Her childhood was a happy one spent between primary school, and family.
She enjoyed primary school a lot and wonders how different Hogwarts is going to be in comparison. Even though she's flown a broom before (she quite enjoys it) she's never played Quidditch or seen an actual game, (even an informal pick-up game) though she's gotten to play with the Quaffle a bit with her cousins so naturally she's very curious about the sport. She's looking forward to most of her classes except, perhaps, the really practical ones like DADA. She's not overly fond of hurting others even when it comes to defense because it goes directly against what she wants to do upon graduating which is healing. She never had much interest in extracurricular activities at muggle primary but she did enjoy her lessons with the violin. She also enjoyed reading for leisure versus reading for expanding her knowledge base. If it catches her fancy she'll read it but if it's really dry she won't touch it unless it's for an assignment.
Her parents -while attentive - were very busy individuals so she didn't get to spend too much time with them during the week but they tried to be good about having at least one family outing during the weekends and their vacations during the summer as well as visiting extended family. Summer was actually her favorite time of the year since she got to travel with her parents often.
She didn't get to form any really close bonds to her muggle primary school friends because she knew in the end that shed be off to Hogwarts so she spent most of her time with the kids surrounding her home.The Donnovan Estate is quite extensive particularly when it comes to land boundaries so the rambunctious child got to grow up running around and generally playing games, reading or flying.
She did invite various neighborhood kids over her house but at 11 years old she can safely say she hasn't had anyone really close to her. The Hogwarts thing had a lot to do with it but it wasn't judt a lack of trying, really, because she was fairly well-liked but more because she hasn't felt that 'click' with another kid her age before - muggle or otherwise. While very friendly and outgoing she honestly had more fun playing by herself than with others. In her mind its much easier doing the things that interest you by yourself than having to do the uninteresting things that are quite 'boring' with everyone else. Its not as if she could play exploding snap with a muggle, now could she? Or silly pretend games that caught her fancy with wizards.
Aside from muggle primary she got tutored by her grandparents in various aspects of family history and bit of standard magic theory so she could have a foundation before Hogwarts. (household magic, Hogwarts, magical plants and critters that live in the area, etc).
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Shae is very sharp and perceptive, quite unusual for a girl her age. She rather enjoys school and her best subjects would probably be Transfiguration and Arithmancy. Being the only child has caused her to grow up mostly by herself and older family members. She's sweet but surprisingly solitary. She's rather strong willed and courageous but likes keeping her innermost thoughts to herself - she hasn't gotten much practice in sharing her thoughts and feelings others. She can be opinionated about the things she's passionate about but will rarely speak about them. Quiet unless provoked, she's generally quite happy. Shae is also fiercely independent and she doesn't allow things to get to her for the most part.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Shae can come across as a bit snooty despite her cheery countenance because she mostly prefers to be by herself. She enjoys doing things on her own terms so much that sometimes she tends to discard people as a bit of a hindrance. While she doesn't foolishly rush into things she does have an annoying tendency of trying to tackle problems by herself - be it small or large problems. While its true that she doesn't normally allow things to get to her when Shae's temper flares it just consumes her. She isn't a redhead for nothing. She makes friends easy enough but has trouble truly connecting with her peers. Her worst subject would be Defense and History of Magic. Defense because she just doesn't have the stomach for it and History of Magic because shed just never generate the necessary interest about the things that happened before her time unless its somehow directly related to her. Overall she thinks that all pretty useless and boring.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I feel Shae is a Gryffindor at heart. She's passionate and noble and she does have a great deal of fearlessness in her.

However, before we can sort you, I'm actually going to have to ask that you expand on her history a bit. ^^ There's not really much about Shaelyn and we are, after all, looking for her childhood history here. I know you know what I'm looking for~ ;3 So if you could expand there and give us more insight to how she grew up, that'd be great!
Also, small, but you're missing her academic weaknesses. <3
