First and Last Name: Kassidy Clovelly
Bloodline: Pureblood
Hair Color: Light brown
Eye Color: Green
General Build: Petite
Height: Short
Birthplace: Betws-y-Coed, Wales, England
Brief Childhood History: Kassidy was born on August 19th, the only child in a pureblooded family. Her mother, Charlotte Clovelly, vanished shortly after her birth, leaving her father, Kiaran Clovelly, to raise her alone. He never moved, choosing to stay in the small town that Kassidy had been born in, in the hopes that his wife would one day return to them. Surrounded by forests and mountains in a rather secluded part of the country, Kassidy grew up half-wild, with more animals as friends than Muggle children her own age. They found her weird anyways, as strange things would happen to the people she was angry with. It was never purposeful, but it never gained her any friends. Her only friends were her distant cousins, who were young adults and rarely came to visit anyways. They were kind to her, and always snuck her candy and treats, but that was the extent of it.
Her father, though he raised her as best he could on his own, was always distant towards Kassidy. At first, she had tried harder to get close to him, but after a few years she had given up, spending even more time in the forests surrounding their town. She’d always known that her family was magical, though she never saw her father perform any spells around her.
Anything she learned, she learned mostly on her own. She had a knack for figuring out things, even though she never went to any school before Hogwarts. Her father, though he lived in a village filled with other Muggle families and had sworn off magic, refused to let her go to the local Muggle school. He was strongly against Purebloods mixing with Muggles, and the fact that they lived in a Muggle community was pushing it. So Kassidy learned from old school books of his, learning to read and write as she grew up. Her father would occasionally jump in and help, but such moments were rare.
She received her Hogwarts Acceptance Letter a couple of months before her eleventh birthday. It was something she’d been excited about for months but wasn’t sure would come. So Kassidy sent off her answer as soon as she could write it out, sending her own acceptance.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): She’s quiet and mostly keeps to herself since she grew up that way, though she is friendly and talkative when approached. She feels a strong sense of loyalty to those she connects with, as she’s never had many friendships and figures this is how she can hold onto them. Once she befriends someone, she sticks to them like glue and is fiercely protective of them. Kassidy is extremely good with animals, better with them than with most people, which would give her strength in Care of Magical Creatures. Divination is something else she would be good at, as her missing mother and one of her favorite cousins are Seers and she wishes to follow in their footsteps. She tends to learn quickly and would be good in most of the hands-on types of classes.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): She can have a bit of a nasty temper when provoked, though it takes her awhile to get to that point, and is sometimes prone to retaliating with uncontrolled, unintentional magic. Her main fault is her distance- she finds it hard to connect with people and sometimes comes off as nosy and persistent to the people she tries to get to know. Another fault is her eagerness to fit in- she will do anything and allow her opinions to be easily swayed just so that others will like her. Kassidy isn’t the type to sit still just listening while learning, so History of Magic might present a problem. She can get antsy when she stays still too long and might be a bit disruptive to others. Arithmancy might be another problem- growing up, math and many things to do with numbers was never her strong suit.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Kassidy would fit on either ends of the spectrum- Gryffindor and Slytherin. She possesses traits from both- she has the nerve and loyalty of a Gryffindor and the ambition and resourcefulness of a Slytherin. But her family comes from a long line of Slytherins, and eager as she is to follow in her family's footsteps, Kassidy would do her best in Slytherin.

Hi there! Welcome to HPRPG!
Your sheet looks great, but we will need you to choose a house for Kassidy. Once you've settled on either Gryffindor or Slytherin, just edit that portion of the sheet accordingly and change your title from 'pending' to 'edited'!
