Brief Childhood History: Born to Elizabeth and John, Alexandra had a moderately happy childhood in southern England. In the family, it was no secret that Elizabeth was a witch, particularly adept at Transfiguration. Visits to London were always great fun for Alexandra, as this meant she saw her grandparents, Dot and Albert, both of the wizarding community. From a young age, Alexandra always had a fondness for Cauldron Cakes. Dot liked to spoil her only grandchild with all sorts of sweets and goodies. Alexandra's first visit to Diagon Alley, aged eight, resulted in her receiving a pet toad from Albert. Alexandra called this toad Trent, after a particularly arrogant little boy in her class. Trent was, unfortunately, always targeted by the neighbour's cat and vanished one day. It is believed Trent was a pre-dinner snack for Mittens.
Developmentally, Alexandra was certainly always a smart girl, but she had little common sense. As a toddler, she used to eat chocolates made for cats and dogs on the odd occasion. In the winter, T-shirts were an option for her, albeit a rather silly one. Her first display of magic came at the age of seven, when she, at her small height, struck her head atop the ceiling. The sensation Alexandra said she felt was as if "someone had attached boots with springs to my feet".
Alexandra's father, John, was absent for a bit of her childhood. He was a businessman, a representative for a shoe company, which resulted in him travelling abroad quite a lot. He didn't understand a lot of aspects of the wizarding realm and sometimes enjoyed being away from his family. He loved his wife and daughter very much but he often felt like a third wheel. Nevertheless, he was very supportive of his daughter's endeavours and was looking forward to seeing his little girl off to Hogwarts.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Alexandra is a bright child. She always wanted to learn how to fly and quite likes Quidditch; her hand-eye co-ordination is good. Transfiguration runs in her veins, her mother has taught her a lot of what she knows and Alexandra is a keen reader. She has the potential to do the work of a third year in her first. Another pastime of Alexandra's is reading about various potions. She has a good memory for recipes (and instructions in general) and can follow them mostly without a hitch. On the whole, Alexandra is friendly and seems to have a good sense of humour. She enjoys making the other children laugh.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Alexandra is known to have a boisterous streak. She can be loud and some may perceive her as obnoxious. She also has a tendency to get over-emotional over small dramas. Academically, Alexandra's weakness lies in Defence Against The Dart Arts. Because of Alexandra's over-emotional nature at times, she has a tendency to panic when faced with even ideas of dark magic and how to repel it. She tries not to let it show, but Alexandra worries a lot and her stress levels probably aren't healthy for that of an eleven year old.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Alexandra feels, with her friendly mannerisms, her loyalty to those close to her and her hard work ethic, she would be a great addition to the Hufflepuff house. Hufflepuff would be gaining a clever, keen witch ready to do whatever is required of her to succeed at school.

In the 'general build' and 'height' sections, can you use one of the three words provided for you on the official character sheet? ;)
And on another note, I know you said Ravenclaw was the first choice for Alexandra and normally, I would just put you onto the waiting list, but you have listed Hufflepuff as a second choice. But before I sort you or wait list you, I just wanted to make sure of your decision. Would you like Alexandra to be placed in Hufflepuff or wait for Ravenclaw to open?
