First and Last Name: Lee Chan

Bloodline: Half-blood
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brown
General Build: Average
Height: Average

Birthplace: UK
Brief Childhood History: Lee was born in the UK to the muggle-born witch, Mia, and to the half-blood wizard Kai. Lee was raised in two residences, the home of his parents in the UK, and he spent summer visiting with his mother to her parent's village in rural China. Upholding a promise with her father, Mia and her husband would raise Lee in a magic-less environment, aka a muggle's life. He attended school during the regular school year, and enjoyed the 'simple' life style in the rural country side in the summer. While in school, Lee was encouraged to always do his homework and to listen in class. By doing so he would do well in school and be rewarded with the praise of his parents. It was what made him happy. In the summer, spending time in the rural country side allowed him to feel the 'freedom' of being away from city life. He loved to play with the animals and asking his grandparents what things were. The environment between the two places greatly differed and allowed him to experience new things. One time, Lee was playing with chickens, later on he would realized that he ate his chicken friend he was playing with earlier. Eventually, when he came to age, his parents, in the presence of his grandparents revealed that he was a wizard and was given the choice to walk down the same path his mother did, or to remain as a regular muggle child. As much as he loved everything he knew then, he wanted to see more of the world. As a kid, knowing only the city before seeing the world his grandparents lived was an amazing one. He wanted to see another.

Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Youthful and full of energy, Lee has experienced more of the physical side of life. He is always ready to move and try new things. His strength for academics come from trying anything and everything. He lived in a culture where kids did well in everything in school, and so expectations of himself have not changed. Class-wise, his initial strength would be in History of Magic, since it is the course which resembles the format of a muggle classroom out of everything.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): His weakness is that he lacks experience and background in anything in the wizarding world. It can be said he lacks 'affinity' for magic, though that does not stop him from trying his best. He would not do well in classes such as Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, Potions and Transfiguration because he have any logic nor common sense about the wizarding world. He is likely to try to hard at school despite not making the connections between magical topics and likely to exhaust himself in class relatively quickly, despite initial enthusiasm.

What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Going through the houses, I believe Lee is most fitted to be a Hufflepuff. This is because he is a hard worker. Also because of the background he has, his worth ethnic is going to be a strong theme for the character to learn about the world of magic.

Heya Lee and welcome to HPRPG~!

However, there are a few things that need changing before we can sort you. First, Lee needs to be born and raised in the UK and, unfortunately, China is not in the UK. Additionally, I know you've 'explained' why you have 'muggle' on his bloodline, but he's a half-blood, raised as a muggle or not. Additionally, in his childhood history, we need a bit more about Lee's childhood. ^^; I'm not going to ask you to change anything yet, considering I need you to change/edit the whole living in China bit. <3

Additionally, in his strengths and weaknesses, we need at least two specific classes you see him doing well and poorly in. :3

And lastly, we don't chose the house for you. ^^; Considering the house you're sorted into (which is for your character, not you) is a key element in character development we don't want to be responsible for sorting you and for you to wind up stuck. It's up to you and where you feel Lee will grow best based on the traits you've given your character.

Once you've made the necessary edits just change the title from 'pending' to edited and we'll continue from there.

Hi there!

Thank you for making the edits, but there are still two things that need attending to.

First, we'll need a class that Lee is good at for his Strengths. Even without his 'affinity' for magic, I'm sure there must be at least one class he finds easier than the others. ;) And instead of crossing out the portion we asked you to edit, please just delete it entirely; it keeps the application looking neat.

Once you've done that, just swap the title again!
