First and Last Name: Saliis Price
Bloodline:Half-Blood
Hair Color: Blond
Eye Color: Grey
General Build: Average
Height: Average
Birthplace: Diagon Alley, London, U.K.
Brief Childhood History:
Saliis (Pronounced “Sale-us”) was born at her home in Diagon Alley by a mid-wife (“Mid-witch Helena Van’tross, here at your service, missus”). Her father was a muggle who promptly “fled the nest” when she was born, somehow not being able to take the thought of having another witch in his house-hold. Her mother married again to a wizard when Saliis was three years old. There was no doubt to her magical ancestry when she shattered the window in her bedroom (the official story was that it was because her mother wouldn't let her buy a snake).
While her parents don't have strong opinion on Muggles (other than the generally accepted "Those Muggles are loony."), Saliis's views have been slightly scewed by her cowardly birth-father. She doesn't protest on the inclusion of Muggle-Borns at Hogwarts, thinking it hypocritical due to her blood status (she is not entirely above hypocrisy but she doesn't care what your blood-line is, she'll hate you for you, not your family tree). She has one step-brother, Tristan, who is three years old and a general annoyance in her life.
When Saliis was younger she loved to draw and read, hobbies she's carried into her adolescence. Her step-father tried to get her into Quidditch, but she refused to show liking for the game, instead preferring to do academic things.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Generally a very intelligent young lady, Saliis strives to get the best grades she can, partly because it makes her look good and partly because she gets money from her mother for "O's."
Armed with an appreciation for art forms and a general feeling for how things work, Saliis is best at Transfiguration. She would also be good at Potions, as her step-father works with them, and has tutored her in it. She's witty and can be funny if it's not at your expense she's laughing. She's also very curious, although whether this would be regarded as a strength is up to the person.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Saliis is manipulative and cold to strangers. She doesn't make friends easily and would need someone loyal and determined (read: Hufflepuff) to worm their way through her defenses. She has a sharp tongue and is very sarcastic and can be cruel.
Saliis tends to be blatantly honest with you, which can be hurtful. She's not good at expressing her own emotions, tending to think such talk is weak. She hates heat and physical exercise (unless you've got an air-conditioned gym) making her horrible at sports and Quidditch. She's also quite anti-social, and she hates (with a passion) large gatherings.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
Slytherin. Saliis is very ambitious - when she wants something, she'll do anything to get it, and no one will stand in her way (unless you want to be found three to four days later tied up in an alley). She's not above manipulation and is sly and conniving. Though she is not a blood-purist, Slytherin is not necessarily defined by blood-status. She's clever and street-smart, and very, very inventive (if she needs to kill you with some two-thousand odd balloon animals and a giraffe, she will). Also incredibly independent, she'll go by on her rules and not yours.

Hi and welcome to hprpg :D
There are just a few things we're going to have to ask you to revise before we can carry on with the sorting.
First, if you could please go back to the 'height' field and change it to one of the choices offered (short, average, or tall) rather than an exact height, that would be appreciated. And also, since Diagon Alley is a canon street, I'm going to have to ask that you remove the specific number and Lane. Keep it vague~
Also, breaking all the windows in the flat as an instance of uncontrolled magic is a little bit unrealistic. :sweatdrop: Magical 'accidents' in children should be relatively small, as they haven't fully developed their magical abilities yet. If you could also give us a bit more detail about Saliis' childhood in that section, that would also be good. Any siblings? (or half siblings in her case) What sort of things did Saliis like to do as a child?
And also, I just have to ask how it's possible that she's learned muggle chemistry when she's grown up in an all magical home? Just trying to keep things consistent.
Once you've made your edits, you can change your subject line from 'Pending' to 'Edited,' and someone will come and have another look. :biglove:
