First and Last Name: Ember Pierrapont Bloodline: Half-Blood Hair Color: Dark Brown Eye Color: Brown General Build: Petite Height: Short Birthplace: London Brief Childhood History: Ember is the only child of the wizard Alagorius Pierrapont and his Muggle wife, Perpetua Phipps. The couple divorced when Ember was five. Which was highly unexpected to the observant little Ember, who never saw or heard her parents fight. One morning she woke up and her father had simply vanished from their lives (his return would be under even more unexpected terms than his disappearance). Ember resented her father’s abandonment and her mother’s calm acceptance of it equally.
Over the years, Ember’s mother dated regularly, but Ember was quick to sabotage almost every relationship. The exception being a Muggle named Lawrence Phipps, who survived Ember’s medaling and became her step-father when she was nine. They coexist decently, but are not close, though it’s not due to Lawrence’s lack of effort, but Ember’s.
Ember went to a Muggle primary school and received exceptionally good marks. She tended to associate with a delinquent group and found herself in trouble quite frequently. Ember and her best friend, Piper Collins, enjoyed such bullying past times as taking their schoolmates pocket money by force and taunting relentlessly those whom they disliked. In these activities, Ember was nearly always the follower and rarely instigated them on her own.
Unfortunately, Ember was never told that her father was a wizard, so when her Hogwarts letter arrived, Ember was shocked. She was even more so when she discovered her mother had contacted her father so that Ember could be introduced to the Wizarding World properly. After not having seen her father for six years, Ember wants nothing to do with him or anything magical related for that matter. She flat out refuses to go to Hogwarts, and when she’s told she hasn’t the choice, she vows to have a such a deplorably miserable time so that her mom will let her return home.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic): Ember can conceal her emotions rather well and uses that to her advantage. She is book smart, cunning and clever. She sees nothing wrong with altering the truth to suit her needs, and therefore lies fairly well. She well excel in Potions, Herbology and after some effort, Flying Lessons.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic): Change unsettles Ember more than most. Therefore she rebels against it. She is a bit pessimistic and cynical, and sometimes unkind. Since she resents being a witch, because it makes her like her father (not to mention the uprooting changes it caused in her life) she will do poorly in classes involving a wand, Charms, D.A.D.A. and Trasfiguration.
