It has been brought to my attention that some inappropriate behavior has been going on in the chat room lately. We do have a lot of fun in there, and it's really nice getting to know the people behind the characters, so I really wouldn't want to be forced to take it down. ._. So, here's a few things to keep in mind while enjoying our chat feature:

-HPRPG, the whole site, is a family friendly environment. We don't have a specific rating here, but we are family friendly. This means that if something isn't appropriate for everyone of all age groups to see it doesn't belong here. There are plenty of places on the internet that cater to more adult discussions, but here is not one of those places~ If you're questioning whether something is appropriate or not, you'd be better off not doing it.

-Every area of this site is moderated, including the chat. Just because there isn't a staff member in there all the time doesn't mean that there should be a free for all when you think you're alone. The rules still apply whether one of us is in there to enforce it or not.

-You can be banned from the chat, and you will be if we decide that your behavior is inappropriate. These bans can be temporary or for good depending on the severity of your actions.

-Harassment of any member will not be tolerated, on any level. This includes talking behind a person's back when they aren't around or where they can't see it. As previously mentioned, every part of this site is moderated.

-If you have an issue with anyone on the board, or about the board in general, please do not discuss it in the chat. Contact a staff member. We'll be happy to discuss it with you directly.

Please keep all of this in mind, and remember that we're keeping an eye on the situation and will be removing people's access to the chat if we find it necessary. It would really be a shame to have to take the feature away from everyone due to the behavior of a few. Please take this as a general warning to everyone, and please watch your own behavior from now on. Even if it's not you that's the problem, everyone can benefit by thinking before they speak!
