: A few reminders about classes

Hello and welcome to all our new members~! It's really nice to see you all here, and that you're diving right in and getting involved. There's just a few things that we'd like to remind all members, new and old alike, about posting in classes since they're a little different then regular threads.

-No matter when you join the thread, your character has been there since the beginning of class. Most teachers lock the door when it's time for class to begin to keep out stragglers. If you have a plot in mind and would like special permission to be late to a class, please PM the teacher and work something out.

-Please only post in any class once per day. Classes can get a bit crowded and overwhelming, so we like to make sure everyone has a chance to get involved.

-Do not godmod teachers! You can't say that your character has done something when the teacher's back is turned, because that would be controlling the actions of the teacher. You may say that your character tried to avoid being seen, but ultimately that choice is up to the driver of the teacher.

-Please remember to be realistic. Your character is at a boarding school in the UK. Children are brought up to be respectful of authority figures. Sure, there are trouble makers everywhere, but there will be consequences if your character acts up. Loss of house points, detention, or even ejection from the class on a temporary or permanent basis. Most teachers tolerate a little talking in class, but generally not during a lecture. ;)

-Make sure you are reading teacher posts carefully so that you aren't missing things. Teachers are gonna call your character on it if they're doing something silly, even if it's obvious that it's a driver error. So please pay attention!

If you have any questions, don't be shy about PMing a staff member. We're here to help!
