First and Last Name: Leighton Marie Jones
Bloodline: Half-blood
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Honey
General Build: Average, for an eleven-year-old girl.
Height: Average
Birthplace: Lee, a small town in the whereabouts of London, England.
Brief Family History:
She had a happy childhood, so far, living as an average child in the small town of Lee. Her mother was a muggle, that, when in the age of twenty, got lost and ended up in a street near Diagon Alley. There, she entered a weird looking tavern and asked the waiter for directions. That happened to be Cedric Jones, Leighton's father. They fell in love, and married, nextly buying a house in the small town of Lee. They had two children: Peter and Leighton. Peter is two years older than Lei (her nickname) and had already gone to Hogwarts. They never moved once.
Cedric Jones, her father, went to Hogwarts and was placed on Gryffindor, but never influenced her to try and be chosen to that particular house.
Her mother grew up to go to Julliard and is now a world known pianist. She taught Lei how to play. Her mother is mostly on tour, her father sometimes goes too, leaving her with her aunt, Melanie and her husband, Jared. Her mother, how ever, transmitted her love for music to Lei.
Also, as her mother has red hair, when the sun is really bright, some red reflexes can be seen on her hair.
Strengths (Including Personality and Academic):
Lei likes a good challenge, and she works very hard to get good grades. She has a curious and smart side, but she's still far from genius Her favorite classes will be Defense Against the Dark Arts -- she wants to be able to defend herself, to be in control of what's around her -- and Charms. She will also be looking forward to try the Flying class. The idea of being free up in the skies allures her very much.
Lei is a talkative person, but when she meets new people, she is awkwardly silent. When people get to know her, she is very friendly, happy and she loves to be tricky, playing pranks and jocking around. She has a want to cross the rules, even thought she will only cross them if the opportunity presents itself. She's brave, trusting and when her friends are on the line she'll do anything. She's smart, and can untrangle herself from difficult situations.
Weaknesses (Including Personality and Academic):
Leighton won't pay much attention in Potions and Herbology. She considers those classes dispensable, as even a bit useless. She'll do it, if she has to, and keep an average grade but she won't be much enthusiastic about it.
She doesn't think twice when she's about to do something, and sometimes won't be aware or won't face the consequences.
She has a bit of pride, having a gift on the piano and having stable grades, so she might act a bit cocky sometimes. Also, as she adventurous and likes to cross the line, when she's caught she'll get extremely humiliated and will be extremely embarrassed.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why:
Lei would like to be in the same class as her father, Gryffindor, but she won't mind if placed on other house. She might be a bit upset, and remorse about it for a few days, but she'll get over it.
Lei is brave, courageous even, and will do anything for her close friends, qualities which I think can belong to Gryffindor. She can put her pride aside, even help others she doesn't like much, and work hard on everything, other qualities that I think belong to the house previously mentioned.

Welcome to hprpg! Before we can continue with sorting, there are a few things that need to be changed on your character sheet.
First, the height. On this board, we request that on character sheets, you give a general description as tall, average, or short, as you have done with the general build.
Second, it's fine for Lei to have an older brother at Hogwarts (so, now that that's been answered, please edit it out of your character sheet XD) If you have any further questions about anything, don't hesitate to pm me or one of the other staff members.
Third, for house placement, please tell us why Lei belongs in the house you requested. Which traits does she have that make that the right house for her? It's not all about what she wants. :lol: Afterall, it is the sorting hat that decides.
Other than that, everything looks good. :D Just change the topic from pending to edited when you have made the appropriate changes.
