First and Last Name: Daphne Elizabeth Arden
Physical Description: Daphne is very pretty, even if she's too modest to admit it, with her mousy blond hair and delicate features. She is a very petite girl with a small frame, which makes her shrink even more when she slouches a bit to hide. Her outfits are always rather simple, without much else unless her sister has helped. The only thing that Daphne always keeps with her is a brown leather bag, the perfect size for hold a few good sized books.
Bloodline: Pureblood
Short Background: Daphne was born in London, the youngest of three children. Even thought they were born several years apart, she and her older siblings, Kristos and Elana, were always very close. Daphne took to following after them, but mostly just Kristos, who was always her hero. When her siblings left for Hogwarts she became very solitary and quiet without them. just counting the years until she could join them at school.
Her parents, Jerome Arden, the English well respected Ministry worker, and Andrea Gregorios Arden, a pretty faced Greek woman with troubles holding down her jobs, were divorced when Daphne was six, over a large disagreement over muggles. Even since then, she has been bounced back ad forth between her parents in their fierce custody battle, spending her time split between attempting to get a single quiet moment with her loud Greek family in Athens or learning to live in her father's rather empty London home, where she is currently residing.
Spending so much time alone at her father's, Daphne has found his large home library a cozy place. She soon became a rather bookish girl, loving just about every written word she could lay her hands on. Both her parents have tried to get her to do things with other children, but she barely even speaks with other kids her own age, deep preferring the company of her books.
Strengths: Daphne is very smart and witty for her age. Spending so much time reading, she has learned many things from her precious books. She is a perfectionist in every sense of the word and is very studious. She also has a very keen eye for tiny details and pays good attention to things.
Weaknesses: She is extremely shy and timid. Without her siblings with her, she doesn't say much at all, and even when she does speak, she gets nervous and starts talking about book related things. She's socially awkward and has major troubles talking to people. Another weakness is the topic of bloodlines to her. With her father being an anti-muggle pureblood and her mom being pro, Daphne has no clue as to what she supposed to think of the whole matter, so she tends to get even more nervous when this matter in mentioned.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: Daphne belongs in Ravenclaw. She is very smart and would be the most comfortable with all those other smart people. Plus, most of her family was in Ravenclaw, such as her father and, currently, both of her siblings.
