First and Last Name: Kestrel Avian Jones
Physical Description: Copper-gold, slightly wavy hair, with natural lighter brown highlights. She likes to keep her hair down and about her face, most of the time. Her eyes are large and round in a hazel color. Her face is rather pale but she has very rosy cheeks. A smoothly rounded face.
She is a rather thin girl with rather long legs, rather good for a ballet dancer. She likes to wear t-shirt and skirts with leggings under them. She can nearly always be found wearing sneakers.
Bloodline: Half-blood. Her mother was from one of the most important Pureblood families in Brittan, but she fell in love with a muggle. Kestrel's mother only recently dropped the bomb on Kestrel's father about the truth of her and their daughter being witches.
Short Background: Kestrel was born on April 10. She was born a little sweetheart and stayed that way for the rest of her life. She was a living doll and seemed to enjoy life. She was an only child and it never seemed to bother her, because she had a talent for making friends.
One day, when she was only about six, she went to go see a ballet with her parents. She fell in love with the art and begged her parents to send her to lessons. They did and Kestrel was trained in the art of ballet until she had to leave for Hogwarts.
Her father got a horrible shock when Kestrel’s mother told him the truth. He nearly lost it, but Kestrel told him she didn’t mind being a witch and that she’d like to try out this school.
Strengths: Her many strengths are from her many different sides. She can be brave, fearless and loyal. She can be smart, thinking in different ways to find the perfect answer. She is willing to work hard to get what she wants. But her best strength is that she never gives up. She will do anything to get the job done.
Weaknesses: Her temper. Sometimes she can go a little too far. She gets mad a little too easily. She will not stand for anyone being rude with her or any of her friends. And sometimes, she spends more time thinking of others than herself. She has a tender heart. She's also a bit of a rebel.
What House You Feel Your Character Belongs In and Why: I feel Kestrel should be in Gryffindor. She sometimes may not be the most brave person, but she is loyal and will be brave and stand for others, when she feels the need.
